by: RushI just wanted to warn everyone, do not pay attention to the sudden influx of negative rankings and gossip about sororities. Girls are becoming malicious trying to compete in rush. Just be careful, follow your heart, and don't believe everything you hear on campus or see on here. It only matters where YOU feel the best and where YOU are the happiest. If I had listened to stereotypes and rumors when I rushed I wouldn't be where I am now. Trust your gut and good luck with the rest of rush!

there's absolutely no reason to be concerning yourself with what everyone else thinks of a chapter. all of the chapters going through formal recruitment have solid national presence, a good number of girls, decent GPAs, good philanthropies, etc etc. Miami freshmen are really ticking me off this semester, you girls really don't know how good you have it.
stop saying you're gonna "drop" a sorority - you by definition cannot drop a sorority. we drop you. you have to go to every party you are invited back to within the number limits provided by panhel, but if we hear your mouth running (and you all have been CHATTY) we can and will take your name off of our lists.
simmer down, kiddos.
