Frat Rush January
by: BopShould I bother rushing top fraternity houses if I haven’t gotten invited to any of there events and have no connections. Heard lots of the big ones already have most of their pc picked.

I wouldn’t be set on those and would check out other chapters (a lot of great chapters that hang out with good looking girls that aren’t considered top) as well. However still go to those houses you want because they usually still have a few spots for new guys. I’m in a top house and never attended their events in the fall. You never know

If you go in with a strategy then you will come out of rush disappointed. I just went to houses that looked interesting to me and if you vibe with the guys then the bids will come. The biggest thing is to go where you feel the most comfortable and would actually want to be friends with the guys. Check out the “top” houses and see if you fit there. Be authentic and you’ll find the house for you.

What was your strategy during rush in order to get into a top house? I have no idea how rush works and I have not been to any fall events. But I would like to know what you did during rush week to get a bid from a top house.
