Uh oh, I think I might be screwed.

I'm not from ohio and didn't know many people who went to Miami before getting here. I go to some fraternity parties but they are at fraternities that I do not like. If I want to rush somewhere better in the spring but I don't know any brothers, could I still get a bid?

I think you will be fine. Most of the upper houses will have their pcs pretty much picked out. But there still will probably be room for a couple more guys.

Just go through rush at any houses you’re interested in. They take kids all the time that they meet during rush and like.
