does greek life change miami for you?

I'm a freshman girl from OOS and had an okay first semester at Miami but it doesn't really feel like home to me yet. Did anyone else have similar experiences and then go through rush and everything changed? I'm really hoping I'll like it better once I'm hopefully in a house because I don't wanna go through the hassle of transferring

I honestly was looking to transfer after first semester of my freshman year. Then I rushed and everything completely changed and I couldn't be happier. Just go through with rush and see what happens

I had a great time my first semester freshman year. I had pretty good ties to Phi Psi, KA, and SAE who got me on their lists and I was at their stuff all the time. I was just blown away by how wild the party scene was and how hot the girls were. It was nothing like I was use to in high school.

Second semester is another story though, considering I was pledge for most of it

me! I'm a freshman and had a so so first semester. All the upper classmen I talk to say that second semester is ten times more fun after rushing.

my good friend had a really similar experience, she came to miami from out of state and had a really rough first semester and was even considering transfering, she decided to stick it out until rush and then as soon as she had rushed and she had gotten her top choice sorority she LOVED miami, like she was obsessed with it so I think rushing will change everything, hang in there :)

I was put in the education dorm so the people i hung out with first semester were lame and stupid. 2 things made miami great, rushing a frat, and picking a major and making friends with those in my major classes
