Beats me, at one of my friend's school they objectively rank the houses using a 10 point scoring system that factors different categories like quality/amount of girls at parties, pledges class quality, actual house, uptown presense, brotherhood, quality/frequency of parties, etc.
Would be interesting approach but ain't nobody got time for that.

If anyone ever puts that much time into rankings then they need to disaffiliate and get a life. People will say what they want to say whether it is based on truth or jealousy... All that matters is that you're in a house that you like who hangs out with other houses that you like
