top tier sororities

The top is generally thought to be (in no order) Theta, Pi Phi, AXO,and DG, with APhi and DZ close behind. Kappa and Zeta have also done well the past few years. But don't let tiers sway you. I'm not in any of those sororities and didn't even discover this website until after rush and couldn't be happier where I am. Just go where you like best and feel the most comfortable.

Just a word of warning, a big mistake a lot of freshmen make is thinking that they will easily get bids to all of the top tiers. Though they call it "mutual selection", the sororities ultimately have the biggest say. I'm not saying this to scare you, just don't put all of your eggs in one basket and think you'll get your top choice automatically. Look around and see what you really like. The top tier is really hard to get a bid from, especially if there are 1000+ girls rushing and each sorority only takes 50. Just be careful is all I'm saying. Good luck!
