gpa

How important is GPA for getting a bid? I know you have to have a 2.5 to be eligible to rush, but I'm just under 3.0. Will that impact me getting a bid?

It depends where you rush. For example, Chi Psi, who prides themselves on academics would probably not rush you but other houses may not care.

not that important unless you're looking for fraternities that hold that as a high standard

Most sororities have special GPA requirements higher than a 2.5. Highest cut off is Kappa, Chi O and ADPi, and you have to have at least a 2.8 for any of those.
