Whats really the deal with being a legacy? Do sororities really take it into consideration or is more of just a pass to a certain round? Also, if you have an aunt in a certain sorority, does that make you a legacy (or is it different for each sorority)?

If you are hot don't worry about being a legacy. Also legacy status usually only applies to girls who have sisters, mothers, or grandmothers who were members.

Some sororities take legacies very seriously. To some others, it doesn't matter that much. I have heard if you're a Theta or Pi Phi legacy that helps A LOT (aka you get a bid, based on what their nationals dictate.) But then I know a girl who has three DG legacies in her family and was cut first round. It really just depends on the sorority and how seriously they take it. Good luck!
