I wouldn't even say tiers are necessary. There's the big 6, and they're the only relevant fraternities on campus. They all hang out with the good sororities, and have different types of guys.

BIG 6:
Phi Tau, KA, Sig Pi, Phi Psi, SAE, Theta Chi

I would dispute the big 6 theory. Sororities hang out with more than those 6 frats. Some of the 6 have been declining the past couple years and other frats have been moving up. I believe there are two tiers. those that pull chicks and those that don't
