How many new members did each house initiate after pledging?
Sounds like some houses have pretty small numbers compared to the last few years
More guys = better parties = more fun

probably bc smaller pledge classes =/= stronger brotherhood? if that was true the Sammies and DUs would have the strongest brotherhoods by far

While nobody was paying attention DU just activated 37 new pledges. They have well over 100 guys now. I know their pledge ed so can verify this is accurate. Not a small house anymore. Seems a lot of chapters are making excuses for small pledge classes this year.

Lame excuse for a small pledge class. Given that it seems most guys accepted a bid they received from the first house they visited during virtual rush one would assume the large houses would still be favored by the majority of guys and they could still be selective and pull numbers. Didn’t seem to play out that way.

FACTS per MIAMI office of FSL:
accepted IFC bids:
2021: 564
2020: 620
2019: 539
Houses that had their rush in order got guys early in the week.
Most guys accepted their first bid and didn’t go to other houses.
Small pledge classes in “top tier” houses means they didn’t rush well !!

When all the top tier sororities who took 40 + new members want to party, they are not going to be hanging with the small pledge classes.
Bigger pledge class = more guys to hang with = better party
