1st semester rankings (no rankings within tier)
by: Brohio
TIER 1A: Phi Psi, Sig Pi, Phi Tau, KA
TIER 1B: FIJI, Theta Chi, Phi Delt, SAE
TIER 2A: Beta, Sig Ep, Ksig, SNU
TIER 2B: Pike, Adphi, Dtd
Tier 3: TKE, DU, DKE, Chi Psi, and whoever else
All of TIER 1 has socials and consistently has girls from Tier 1 sororities (DG, THETA, AXO, PI PHI, APHI, DZ)
TIER2A occasionally will get a top sorority, but has the the lower Tier 1 sororities on lock like DZ, APHI, PI PHI.
Tier 2B - Has no chance with any of the tier 1 sororities, but will have socials with tier 2 sororities like ZTA and KKG, and when desperate the lower end of the tier 2 like Gphi and KD.
Tier 3 - gets all the sororities that have nothing to do with Tier 1 or 2. So AOpi, CHI O, and idk whoever else
I think this is as real as it gets. Trying to put it into perspective to the guys about to rush because it can be pretty stressful if you are unsure where you will go. I suggest you try to go to TIER 1 fraternities for rush if you are blindly doing this, but they can be hard to get into. Keep options open at Tier 2 places though because if you have nothing by day 3, its very hard to find a decent place. A TIER 2B is helluva lot better than a Tier 3, which will be your last option. All i am trying to suggest is to not put all eggs into one basket.. Ive seen kids get screwed over

As much as people want to disagree about rankings and we can argue about them for days on end and not come up with one that everyone agrees with, the underlying message here is great.
Shoot high when it comes to rushing fraternities without having been recruited anywhere, because it's understandable some guys just never make it around anywhere for whatever reason first semester. The important thing to understand its 10 times more important to rush and join a fraternity than to be a GDI. Your overall college experience will be exponentially better no matter where you join.
Like the guy before me said, don't put all your eggs in one basket either. It sucks to see a kid suicide rush, get dinged, and have nowhere else to go once rush is over and be stuck. So yes, take a chance and go for one of the really good fraternities if you want, but don't get discouraged if you don't get a bid. Just keep trying at different fraternities and you'll find a fit guaranteed.
Just remember, guys might rip on other fraternities all the time, but nothing is worse than a GDI

this post is not bad, however tier 2a fraternities do not have dz, a phi, and pi phi on lock? those sororties hangout exclusively with tier 1a and 1b fraternities. the tier 2 a's have kappa, zeta and kd on lock but might occasionally if there lucky have a social with those sororities. clearly someone in a tier 2a fraternity made this post

Honestly this is almost spot on, and this is what the rankings looked like last year and beginning of this last semester... but i think some small changes were made:
TIER 1A: Phi Psi, Sig Pi, Phi Tau, KA
TIER 1B: FIJI, Theta Chi, SAE
TIER 2A:, Sig Ep, Ksig, Phi Delt
TIER 2B: Pike, Adphi, Dtd, SNU, Beta
I think Phi Delt belongs with Sig Ep and Ksig, sorta declining...
Also moved Beta and SNU down. While these two may occasionally hang out with slightly better sororities then where i put them, they are barely hanging on and are more consistently hanging out with those middle tier sororities. They have very good reputations so thats what slightly keeps them relevant, but without that I think they are actually both very average, lower mid tier fraternities.

ZTA, Kappa, and KD definitely mix with a variety of these fraternities…and Kappa and Beta are obsessed with each other and hang out constantly so I have no idea what you're talking about with Beta's pairings. Phi Mu (who you didn't even list) mixes with SNU as well and ADPi hasn't had a decent social in the last 9 months, so I can't honestly say anything about this post is right...
