sorority rush questions

do the sororities care if your from ohio or out of state?
Should you have recommendations?
Does it matter if you don't?
Do sororities even care about involvement or gpa?
Do sororities look at your high school gpa or first semester of college?
When they look at activities in general do they look at high school or college?

1. doesn't matter if you're from Ohio or not
2. recs aren't necessary but if you're a legacy it can help
3. nope
4. yes. a good gpa (higher the better) is important (especially to certain sororities) and they definitely want to see that you're involved on campus in student organizations.
5. first semester gpa
6. they just care about college activities mostly unless it's general hobbies that you've always done
