does it matter that much if you have lower than a 2.5 because I'm not gonna make the cut

You are not permitted to rush with below a 2.5
I don't know if you're a guy or girl but I know for sororities most have a GPA requirement above the 2.5 cut but might make exceptions, guys won't care as much about GPA depending on the frat

You can't go through formal rush if you have under a 2.5 so you would have to dirty rush and most frats don't do that because they could get in trouble/fined for it

If you're a girl and have under a 2.5 you are not allowed to participate in formal recruitment (per university rules.)
