do grades matter once u begin rush?

i understand there’s a required gpa to rush but based off of another post i saw sororities don’t look? sorry this may be a dumb question but i’ve been looking at a school where greek life is highly competitive (alabama) and now i’m checking out other greek systems and it’s way different idk? what factors do sororities consider when rushing pnm’s?
