Does your rank effect things

I am an incoming freshman and want to join a sorority. I just want to know the honest answer to this. If I don’t get into a “top tier” sorority, will guys in “top tier” frats reject me or stop talking to me once they find out? I am curious because I have heard stories like this from colleges before.

If you're a female you will not get denied at a frat party, no one asks what srat you're in. However, you probably won't have socials with top tier frats.

You can be attractive and still hang with upper tier guys. Just won’t have socials. You will end up hanging and making friends within your tier most of the time.
