no frats/bars in the fall??

Does anyone actually know what’s going to be happening this fall with parties and bars?When I decided to come to Miami it was 90% because I heard it was a party school so I’m honestly going to be super bummed if I miss out on the full experience my freshman year

Don’t know where in the email it said “no bars” considering the school doesn’t have the authority to tell businesses not to open, just no Fraternity/Sorority socials at bars.

There's just gonna be a ton of smaller functions and "birthday parties" at the bars. Drunk college kids always find a way. If you ain't a weirdo you'll still find your way into parties

When we were all sent home in March, the bars almost immediately went to 21+ exclusively to comply with social distancing (since 21 and up can buy drinks). Idk what's gonna happen with that, like if they'll do the same thing, but there are always gonna be parties no matter what.

They said they’re letting underage kids drink in small groups in the dorms because “ it’s the safer option”
