Ban on events at Miami
by: RayGiven the new set of rules making sororities and fraternities basically neutered on campus is joining one next year even worth it?

Kinda depends on what things are lookin' like by the spring semester. IFC has stated that they're only looking to enforce whatever the state recommends. So if the state of Ohio chills out by December (which it probably will), it'd still be a good idea to rush.
But either way, just because frats aren't allowed to throw parties doesn't mean that the parties aren't still going to happen. If frats are good at one thing it's finding loopholes and dodging the rules.
This semester will be a true show and tell of which chapters are smart enough to not have anything, which chapters are smart enough to have parties and not get caught, and which chapters are dumb enough to have parties and get caught. It'll be pretty entertaining at the very least.
