2013-2014 rankings

After watching the rankings and fraternities/sorortities over the past years and 2012 fall, these are the rankings for the 2013-2014 year as the seniors leave and new pledge classes settle in:
Upper Top Tier: Phi Psi, Delta Gamma
Top Tier: KA, Sig Pi, SAE, Phi Tau, Theta, Aphi, AXO
Lower Top Tier: Theta Chi, Phi Delt, Fiji, DZ, Pi Phi
Upper Middle Tier: Sig Nu, Beta, Sig Ep, Kappa, KD, Zeta
Middle Tier: DTD, Pike, Kappa SIg, Gphi, Chio, Phi Mu
Lower Middle Tier: DU, Adphi, Tke,Pi kapp, Fuzzy, Adpi
Lower Tier: Sammy, Chi Psi, Dchi, D Sig, Acacia, Lambda Chi, ZBT, DKE, AEHPI, AOPI, AGD
Phi Psi and DG are slightly better than the rest, however not much. SAE and Phi Tau still party with the hottest girls but fell a little due to getting kicked off, whereas others rose. AXO upper top, however they got a weak pledge class which made them fall a bit as well.

That seems pretty accurate but its tough to rank houses like that because when you think about it Phi Psi, Phi Tau, Theta Chi, KA, SAE, and even Fiji all usually party with some combination of AXO, Theta, DG, Pi Phi, and APhi. Beta, Sig Nu, Sig Ep mainly party with Kappas, GPhis, and Zetas. Sig Pi and Phi Delt with DZ. It makes them hard to choose who's better or worst

It might be safe to take Fiji out of all discussion now that they are without a house.

Dear GDI,
Yes, KD and Zeta before Phi Mu. Phi Moo is comparable with Chi O. KD, Kappa, and Zeta are on the same wavelength, and Gamma Phi is below all three. KDs hang around Betas. Zetas hang around upper to mid-tier frats. There's your lesson for the day. Now go away, peasant.

Zeta and Kappa are better than the rest in this group but they are still far behind the top.

its not all about "tiers", its all about relevancy. "Rankings" will differ from person to person, but you'll consistently see the same fraternities and sororities near the top. All of the relevant fraternities hang out with the relevant sororities, and vice versa.
Relevant fraternities (in no particular order):
Phi Tau, KA, Phi Psi, Theta Chi, Sig Pi, FIJI, SAE
Relevant Sororities (in no particular order):
DG, Theta, AXO, Alpha Phi, Pi Phi, DZ
If you like classier girls/guys, you might say Theta and KA are the top. If you like to rage all the time, you might say Phi Tau and Pi Phi are the top. It really varies depending on who you ask, and what type of person they are.

My buddy from my hall went DKE this spring, which I thought he was dumb for, but the guys that he would hang out with all seemed decently cool. They don't get any love on here, but from a fellow greek life member I would say I have a lot of respect for what they have been able to do in the last few years. Just sayin'.
