Here are the honest, true rankings of the Sororities on campus:
Top: Theta, AXO, DG
Upper: A Phi, Pi Phi, DZ
Middle: KKG, Zeta, Chi O, Phi Mu, GPhi, KD
Lower: Fuzzie, ADPi, AOPi
Bottom: AGD, AEPhi
If you're looking for the status and the name of a certain sorority, you should follow these tiers. If you're looking for a home and the family behind the letters, follow your heart. After all, who cares what a bunch of frat guys think of you in relation to every other sorority?

is it true these girls are coming back? my sister was at Ole Miss, but my mom was a DG at OSU,... apparently TriDelta blows everyone out of the water when they decide to be on campus and be badass, but I'd be happy with being a legacy in my mom's, her's, or finding my own.

i was one of the panhel representatives at the tridelt information meeting, and if the girls i saw there joined, they'd probably be similar to phi mu/KD/chi o, or lower middle tier. definitely better than aopi and adpi, and slightly classier than fuzzie. of course this was from a thirty minute meeting so it's still very up in the air. and the tridelt alumnae or whoever who will do recruitment this fall are the ones choosing, so it's hard to say. i do think their national reputation for being very strong will help pull good girls to rush in the fall

I hate to break it to you, but they'll probably fall towards the bottom of the barrel unless whoever does their recruiting pulls off some kind of miracle. Case in point: Fuzzie. They had a decent reputation before they were kicked off and came back with a much less popular one.
That's not binding of course and a lot of it depends on how well they do with their fall recruitment class, but generally fall classes aren't filled with the types of girls who you'd expect to pull in an awesome pledge class.
