rich?

IDK where you are all looking but I'm a trust fund baby at Miami. (I also so happen to be in Greek life) I am well in the top .01% but I wouldn't consider most kids at Miami anymore than middle class.
I think a large part of this has to do with where everyone is from. There is a lot more money on the coasts than in the midwest ...and everyone here is from Ohio

you're well into the top .01% or the top 1%? well into the top .01% means you make well over $10 million per year

More than 10 mil a year. People here talk about money a lot more than my friends and I do back home but a majority of the students talking about money seem to be from a very different socioeconomic class. I was raised to not talk about money and that people with true money don't discuss it. I always considered myself upper middle class and I didn't know any better until I got to college

I'm not embarrassed at all. It's something I don't normally discuss or tell people though. It's not my money (yet) and I didn't earn it so I don't brag about it. I'm here to get an education to work and hopefully make my own money one day

I'm not talkin about the lower top 1% at $390k annual income; not even the top.5% at $610k annual income. This is peanuts
There are kids here in the top .1% with parents making $1.9 million a year. I haven't met any yet in the top .01% which is $10 million a year
