is a good social life possible without greek life?

So, long story short, rush ended disastrously for me and I ended up not doing it. I'm heartbroken and it sucks hearing about all the fun stuff everyone already has planned. Is it possible to still go to a lot of frat parties and have a good social life? Do guys care whether or not you're in a sorority? How do I go about having a better social life?
This may sound stupid but I feel lost and sad and any sincere advice would be helpful.

So sorry you had such a bad experience. You can try again next year but in the meantime as the previous post suggested get involved in as much as possible. Try and make some connections with girls in the houses that you were interested in. Unfortunately this is probably not the best place to get your answers based on the idiot that made fun of your situation.

btw I did get a bid, it was just one i didn't love and I'm not gonna commit a lot of time unless I love it

Stick it out, you said you got a bid, so give it a chance. Bid day is awkward, but every sorority has such a big range of personalities that you will find your friends, its only been a few days since rush. That sorority saw something in you. Those girls know their sorority better than you, and they clearly saw that you would fit in!

It is true! Get involved Try to rush a business frat. They have lots of socials and ithey do take all majors. Also join clubs that don't invoke a selection process. 2/3 of campus or more are NOT Greek. So yes. Many guys in frats will care but the majority of guys won't and as I said it is time to find some other organizations on campus. Good luck!!!

"lol"..youre actually making fun of someone for something that made them really upset. Its people like you who give Miami the reputation for being as shallow as it is.
To answer OP...Honestly I would say to just get really involved. I know people who met their closest friend group through clubs, business fraternities, intramural sports...etc. I would say just try anything that interests you and see how it goes from there! :)
