by: PnmI did not receive my first choice. I will keep an open mind over the next couple of weeks, but if afterwards I am not feeling a sense off sisterhood, what are my options? Do I not commit, and wait for next year? when does informal rush go on?

Can't help but think I hurt my chances elsewhere by being a legacy. At least that's what my older friends told me is what happened. OP, they say give it time. Keep reminding myself that every sorority is big enough that I will definitely find a few girls I click with. Trying to be patient and positive

Sorry you didn't get your first choice. But things do have a way of working out in the end so don't quit too early. There are more than 50 girls in each pledge class and you'll likely bond with several of them as well as a group of active members. That's probably as many as you'd have been close to anyway in your first choice. And the nice thing about Miami is that you will have great friends from other houses and around campus.
