what sorority? girls always surprise you

No offense but it has been less than 24 hours!!!! Give it some time and stop being so judgmental. You don't even know these girls yet.

I feel the same way with my sorority. I thought there would be more people who like to go out but it doesn't seem like it

Bid day is strange for everyone. You are thrown into a group of women who are your "sisters" and you don't even know them. Please give it a couple of weeks and If you still feel the same don't initiate. A lot of girls are feeling this way and questioning their choice for various reasons. Rush is hard and you don't want to have to go through it all again if you don't have to.

Give it time bid day is the worst. I loved my sorority all through rush and then cried at night on bid day because I thought the theme was so tacky and the girls were so weird. In my head I thought I'd rather be in any pledge class but mine I suddenly was envious of every other sorority even ones I didn't like during rush.


I was so wrong, bid day is just the weirdest vibes and it's so hard to feel like you've just devoted your entire college career to one organization but if I could go back I wouldn't change a thing.

Don't drop, give it time. Freshmen year is hard living in the corridor is the best and girls who were scared of going out will surprise you.

Wait until you have your first social event with a fraternity or whatever, you might be surprised

You said none of them look like they drink!! So you don't actually know if they do. Just give it a couple weeks. For my sorority, we have socials this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So at least wait until then!
