question
by: freshmanI was wondering what the likelihood of being dropped between sisterhood round and pref is. I have some good options but I can feel myself getting attached to some more than others and I don't want to get my heart set on anything if more big cuts are to be made. Thank you!

So I hate to be the realist, but there is still a high chance of being cut. I remember thinking I was set with the houses I had in sisterhood only to be cut by my fave before pref. It definitely depends on who you have left, but try to stay positive and keep an open mind regardless of your pref list (and even your bid). Going through recruitment I never would have put myself in my sorority over others, but I have loved every minute of it. It's not the end of the world to join a sorority that you didn't necessarily want to start or that isn't "top tier"

There's an equal chance of getting cut in every sorority as this is the biggest round for both sides - pnms and sorority. If you feel like you fit and it went well, and if your heart is stuck there don't cut them because you're nervous because chances are they're feeling the same way. If they aren't then it wasn't meant to be, but the process works and everyone ends up where they're supposed to. Go with your heart though so you don't have any regrets!
