is gphi on social probation?

Mainly referring to the post below, but I've also heard gamma phis trying to keep things super hush-hush about their social situation and I just want a confirm or deny if that's true. If it is, I'm glad I dropped them last round.

yeah, it's true. They are on so-pro for like a year and they've been obsessively trying to keep it on the DL in order to recruit cute girls, it's so sad.

Gphi is only on it for a semester and it's not that strict of a probation, my friend is in gphi and talks about how they already have stuff planned for the new pledge class

Gphi (and many other sororities) are almost always in a cycle of getting on and off social probation. Many sororities deal with tough nationals, but panhel helps out. The type of social probation they are on means they can still have two date parties + formal. Gphi's social probation is only one semester anyways, and I know many sororities that have been on probation for over a year and still had fun. I heard DG is also on social probation. Social probation is just limiting social events, but many sororities still have plenty of fun with their allowed date parties, underground socials and sisterhoods

That's kinda not true, many sororities are not on a cycle of being on probation. Mine isn't as well as a lot of others (too middle and bottom)

My sorority was on social probation when I joined and honestly it wasn't that big of a deal. Literally every sorority goes through this at some point and there's definitely ways around it. I heard from a gphi herself that it's only a single semester probation and they can have a certain number of events. also lolol they're definitely not the only sorority/frat on campus with a probation right now don't be fooled by greek rank posts

No sorority is irrelevant. It is a home for the girls in it. A place to share the lifelong bonds of sisterhood. If you can't understand that, I feel sorry for you, and you joined a sorority for the wrong reasons

if you dropped them last round, why do you care? if this motivated you to drop them. You obviously don't understand the technicalities of social probation and are joining a sorority for the wrong reasons.
