is being a legacy effecting my chances @ other sra

by:

I'm a legacy at two "top tier" houses, and after the first round, I was cut by a few of the other top tier houses and some upper-middle tier ones. Is there a chance that my legacy status is a cause of this? I understand the reasoning behind being cut from the other top houses (due to their competitive nature and small callback percentages), but I really don't understand why I was cut from the middle tier ones (most of which I really enjoyed and could see myself in). I was the only one out of all of my friends to not get called back to certain houses and I don't feel like it was based on my personality, gpa, or conversations

nope! sororities only know if you are a legacy of that sorority so others aren't affecting anything.

Probably not, but it depends. For instance, if you mention that your mom or sister was Greek (particularly if it was at Miami) they may assume that sorority will work hard to get you (nationals love legacies) and they might not have a shot

Lots of sororities do courtesy second round invites for legacies. You will be able to tell where you might fit after you get invites Thursday. It is possible that other houses have the. Why waste our time mindset or it is possible that you may be a better fit elsewhere
