if a girl isn't in a sorority how is the social life
also when is informal rush for sororities and which sororities tend to do informal?

I'm unsure about outside of a sorority but informal is in the fall! Informal occurs when the sorority doesn't get enough girls

You will have an awesome life outside of the Greek system because you'll get to keep your soul, freedom and independence without being told what to do and sitting in weekly meetings listening to chapter leaders tell you what your "brand" should be.

There is plenty to do outside of greek life and if you don't think any of the chapters are for you there's no harm in not being involved.

About half of the sororities will do informal, whoever is below the quota that Panhellenic sets. It's different every year so there's no way of knowing which sororities will have to do informal or how many girls they will take until after rush.
