high gpa

So I have a relatively high GPA of 3.9, does it help me in the rushing process or does it worsen my credentials?

Depends. Some chapters are pressured to increase GPA, or know that they can take a few more guys with GPA's in the 2.x range if they take one with a high GPA. Bringing a GPA up looks good to nationals, alum, and the University. On the other hand, some may see this as a red flag, indicating you'd likely blow off parties and social events to study, especially during the week.
