It would be nice if someone could do this but there are hundreds of girls in each sororotiy and so it would be impossible. Also this site is anonymous and so you get all kinds of opinions and lots and lots of people trying to improve their perceived image. You really just need to talk to lots and lots of people and believe me you can get a vibe from different houses as you talk to them during rush. Good luck!

Go to the houses during rush and have conversations and figure it out on your own where you think you fit

if you fit in well with the house it honestly doesn't matter where you grew up or who you know beforehand. Also honestly all sororities party but there are also girls in EVERY sorority who do not.

Understandable you can't tell about each and every girl in every house, but come on there are some basic traits and characteristics that can help pnms prior to rush. I know this site is anonymous and I'm not trying to cause drama or start hate but I agree with the OP just looking for general stereotypes.

Obviously the girls participating in rush here are bright and can think for themselves but some friendly advice and a little 'heads up' never hurt anyone.

Brains and somewhat shy (think girls on scholarships!): Theta, ADPI, Chio, AOPI
Party & average GPA: (Hell yeah!Just graduate!) DZ, DG, Alpha Phi
Best Dressed Most Popular Big Personalities: AXO
Preppy Brains and Party (Everyone has a friend here): KD, TriDelta & Phi Mu
Average Miami girl: Kappa PiPhi Gamma Phi Zeta
Too new: Phi Sig too new but will have to take the cuts for another year or so
Take that one to the bank as an outgoing senior

Well I don't not know too much other than the top tier but I'll say them...

Pi phi: fun girls, funny and have good personalities.. pretty and like to go out
Dg: fun girls, pretty like to go out
Theta: smart girls, don't go out very much, more serious girls
Aphi: very pretty the wooo yay type girls, very girly
Axo: fun and care free like to do there own thing mixed personalities
Dz: wild, seem like they have a good time

Thanks #5 and #6 - While I know this isn't the final place to be searching for valid, unbiased opinions. And that possibly all you can get here is members anonymously bashing any groups but their own but I think what you wrote is helpful.

Truth as well as opinions without hate and malice is certainly possible.

In the end, I trust the system to work and everyone will form their own opinions but this is helpful and alleviates some anxiety!

edgy and outgoing: kd, gphi, phi mu
smart and super sweet: chi o, aopi, adpi
mix of girls and under the radar: tri delt and phi sig

if you like one sorority in a category, you'll like the others too. all pretty similar
