getting bids rush week

If I did not have much contact with fraternities during the fall semester, is it possible for me to still get a bid during rush week by going to the open houses and making an effort to meet brothers? Also, Which fraternities would be most open to giving out bids this way?

i know sig chi, lambda, sammy, alpha sig, du, dke, adphi, and pi kapp (off campus though) are always open to meeting guys during rush.
