fall informal for sororities?

I am transfering to Miami in the fall as a junior and i thought about joining a sorority. I know about the sorority process and the formal recruitment, but could someone give me some insight into the informal that happens in the fall? I emailed a woman from pha and she said that there was a new sorority and several other sororities who will likely participate. Should I go for informal or just wait and try to rush as a junior?

I would definitely check out Phi Sigma Sigma. They are new on campus and are looking for new members. Also AEPhi is probably doing informal recruitment. As for the others, probably not many will be doing informal recruitment. But as a junior it may be difficult to go through formal recruitment because sororities are looking for longer-time members to fill their pledge class.

YES do informal, if you try to formally rush as a junior you'll have a very hard time. Phi sigma sigma is doing great so far and I would definitely check them out
