The best sororities are chi o, tri delt, zeta, and adpi, listed in no particular order. Other than that KD is good if your looking for one that doesn't party as much.

Who cares? As long as you're with a group of people that you like and feel comfortable with, why does anything else matter? People join sororities and fraternities to make friends, not to feel better (or worse!) about themselves based on an arbitrary ranking scale. "The best sororities", really? There are equal amounts of great (and not so great) people in every organization.

This is all really silly. I'm about to rush as a junior, but I have had experiences of Greek Life from friends who were in them. All I have to say is that every sorority shares the same values. What matters is finding a group of ladies who you feel comfortable and at home with. SDT has been very small and struggled with things, but they are finally working towards bettering themselves and I expect great things from them in the years to come. If you're worried about being in a sorority based on what tier its known to be in, then I think you're in it for the wrong reasons. Sororities aren't supposed to be cliquey groups of girls like in high school. We're in college now, ladies. Let's be honest with ourselves.

The rankings have changed so much this year.. Adpi isn't what it used to be because more girls are realizing they're done with petty high school drama and fake friends and are ready to make true friends in college. At the end of the day, sisterhood is the component of a sorority experience that will stay with you for a life time. All of the sororities "party" so you really cannot rank based on that. Choose the sorority that is the most genuine to you... not what might try to appear as the "coolest."

Adpi has the typical perfect sorority girl look.
tri delt even though it's dropping.
zeta
kd is getting higher.
theta
Dg is getting better too. They seem the most down to earth, but fun.
Chi o don't seem to care about anything. They have the least sorority girl feel.
Phi mu has different groups so there are definitely great girls in there other sororities overlooked.
sdt actually has people in it now and some of the pledge class is actually good.

I'm going to be a Freshman at c of c next year and I'm thinking of trying for either ZTA, ADPi, or Chi O (of course I'm still going to keep an open mind at Rush, and I'm sure I'll be happy wherever I land). Any advise about those three?
