gpa requirements
by: WorriedI have a 2.48 GPA for my first semester. I know its not great but im in the honors college, I'm really involved and was in the top 10% during high school. I reallllly want to spring rush, will my first semester gpa ruin my chances of that?

Most of the time it isn't the chapter's choice whether to drop you for grades or not during recruitment. Most sororities (and I assume fraternities) have national standards that dictate recruitment criteria. That being said, I know most sororities look for at least a 2.5. I would try and raise your GPA next semester and rush during fall :)
