Why does Phi Mu have a "bad rep"?

I was in this chapter they don't have a bad rep as in people hate them or anything they're super sweet and nice but it's such a mixed bag of girls that the group as a whole can seem super awkward. Of course theres girls that aren't awkward at all and girls that are super awkward, there are very pretty girls and there are mediocre looking girls, there are girls that are down to party and theres girls that would rather stay in, they don't have a very defined stereotype besides being awkward and nice so that's why they have a "bad" rep as a whole but I've never met any person that treated me poorly or looked down on me as an individual because I was Phi Mu, it is more of that view on the group as a whole.
