is the semester a waste?

im not really sure what to expect bc I'm only a freshman but ti feel like this isn't what college is supposed to be, and im so sad.
i feel like i cant meet anyone and there's nothing social to do, and that's why i picked CofC because its a fun and social school. Should i just accept that this semester isn't going to be fun and i should just look forward to the Spring?

although this semester isn't the same as a "normal college experience," many organizations will be hosting a lot of virtual events. yes it sucks, but it is what it is. you can make it fun too. just hang out in a group of less than 10 and wear masks and its fine!
