sorority descriptions/rankings

TOP:

Tri Delta- they’re smart, they’re social, they’re popular, and they all get along really well. honestly i don’t hear much about tri delta but that also means that i haven’t heard any bad things either. seems like they’re at a good standing within all of the greek life organizations

Zeta- they’ve had a huge rise in popularity over the past couple of years. they seem like your stereotypical basic white girls based off of looks but they are actually a great group of girls. they all seem really passionate about their philanthropy

ADPi- it seems like adpi has the same reputation at every school but it seems like they try to get girls who are smart and pretty and that’s about it. they’re nice but they don’t seem as involved as they used to be. their new president seems like she really cares about the sorority though so maybe she’ll change their image

KD- they seem like they’re on the rise lately. they’ve bumped up from the bottom tier and they seem like they have a good relationship with other sororities/frats. don’t really hear anything bad about them and they have a good reputation

ChiO- they’re all super chill and i don’t really hear much about them. they seem like a fun group of girls who are super cool to hang out with. i think they’re falling a little bit because of their lack of presence on campus but they seem like they’re satisfied with their image and their involvement. as long as they’re happy that’s great


MIDDLE:

Theta- they are slowly rising to the top of the middle tier. they don’t really mix with a ton of sororities/frats but the ones that they do mix with a re pretty good. they all seem like really down to earth people and they had a good pc this year

DG- they were on the rise for a while but recently their popularity has gone down a little bit. it seems like they try to get girls with the same look which leads to them having a bunch of girls with different personalities. it’s very cliquey within the sorority

SK- they are on the come up with pc’18 and pc’19. they’re really involved on campus and they seem like a group of girls who actually like each other. they seem like they mix well with a good amount of the other greek organizations. haven’t really heard anything bad about them


BOTTOM:

Phi Mu- they’re all really sweet but when it comes down to it they’re never gonna gain any popularity if they don’t actually mix with other sororities and frats. they are all very close friends within their sorority which is a great thing to have but most of them are only friends with other phi mus and don’t really hang out with anyone else

Sig Delt- they don’t do formal recruitment so it’s hard to group them with the other sororities/frats at cofc but they seem like they all like each other and that they’re happy with their current social standing. some girls don’t want to be a part of a sorority with a large amount of people so it’s great that there’s an option for people who like having a smaller circle

no hate! i think all of the sororities are great in different ways. these are just popular opinions that i’ve heard from other cofc students and i believe that they’re pretty accurate
