a girl who I have mutual friends with from home is in zta here, do you think you would help me get in? I have texted her about dorming but I'm afraid to ask about rush and seem desperate. I really want to be a zta, should I try and talk to her about that? I'm also from the north so I'm scared that will hurt me with rushing

Just ask her! I'm sure she will not think you are desperate! It is good to give her an idea that you are interested.
