Honestly, why is everyone so mean to each other on Greek Rank? It is literally about finding where you fit in and that's it. Like your Pi Chi's will tell you, trust the system. You may not be happy with your bid at first because it isn't where you thought you belonged, but I can speak from first hand experience that when I got dropped from the sorority I wanted so badly, I was heartbroken. And looking back on that, I can say that joining SDT was definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. You can go ahead and hate on this comment, but I am confident enough not to care. All I hope is that I can change one person's outlook on going through recruitment.

What everyone considers "low tier sororities" are the sororities trying to overcome their old or new negative stereotypes but it's people like you who hide behind your keyboards and continue to let the legend live on. Congratulations, on being a shallow person.

Because like it or not Greek Life is a popularity contest. And sure it's possible for chapters to move up and down, but individuals want to put themselves in the best position to succeed from the beginning. Hence why the entire pref system exists.
