So first off you should never have a closed off mind during recruitment, It will back fire on you. But they can be bubbly yet fake

Here’s the thing- everyone goes into recruitment wanting adpi. After day 1 a lot of girls put adpi and gamma in their top 2. There was a rumor last year that adpi lost their list of who was invited back but that was started by someone who got dropped by them most likely. The top sororities are very selective because they can be...so if your GPA isn’t great and you weren’t involved in high school good luck. my advice is to make sure you take your time when filling out the recruitment form because ALL of the sororities look at those and this factors in your likelihood of being invited back to whoever you like and connected with the best :) and all of the sororities have great things to offer. They are all so different but all get along. Coastal has a great community atmosphere when it comes to Greek life. Hope this helps!

ADPI and Axid are highly selective and take girls that have open minds and are academically driven and genuine. They can see through the fake. If you go in trying to be what you think they want, it won’t work out. If you go in with that mindset I can tell you right now, you will struggle getting a bid. Be genuine!!! Best advice.

Every girl I met last year that said they only wanted adpi or were straight up adpis ass got dropped day 1. Keep an open mind the other sororities are good too

ADPI pulls off a dang good recruitment every year and get the best girls. Best as in the most intelligent, well rounded women. Girls fall in love with ADPI round after round because they are genuine. I think that’s what everyone loves about them, they are REAL girls. Be real and not cookie cutter and you’ll have a good chance. Also your GPA and involvement should be high as well. They look for that.

AXID is great, they only look for real girls. Unlike some sororities they don’t put on a fake face for recruitment. They are real all around, what you see is what you get.

Adpi and axid are the top two sororities and they're honestly pretty similar in terms of being pretty yet still real and genuine (a lot of sororities on campus are not) therefore they can definitely see through fake and judginess during recruitment, but here's how they differ -

Adpi is more stereotypical southern "bless ur heart" - with that also comes a bit of booksmart (hence why they care so much about grades) and innocence. They aren't big partiers.

Axid is probably more chill in terms of "lets go on an adventure or turn up at a party" down for whatever with the boys kind of girl.

Both good choices, just about which one is more you, but you'll figure that out by talking to them during recruitment.
