transfer/ spring rush

Not all of the sororities do spring recruitment. The Greek life office gets updated rosters from the sororities and gets an average number of women per chapter and does it based off that. So last spring adpi and gamma phi were above the Greek average and did not participate in spring recruitment but the other 5 did. This is good if you know a specific sorority you really want because it’s an informal process but bad if you don’t know who you want because you don’t get to see all of them. If you want to get a feel for them all wait until the fall. The downside to that would be that most of them will be looking for freshman / sophomores and not upperclassmen because they want girls who will contribute to the chapter for 3/4 years. If you have a great GPA and are very involved on campus you have nothing to worry about though.
