by: AhhhHey guys! I'm an upcoming Sophomore with a GPA under a 2.5, (2.0), is it totally not worth going through recruitment? Will I get absolutely no bids?I had a personal incident and had to take a semester off of school. I really want to go through recruitment and find my "home away from home", but I also don't want to be set up for embarrassment.

Honestly you will definitely be dropped by ADPI, Gamma Phi, and AXID after round 1 because they put the most emphasis on the grades especially ADPI. The rest will probably follow suit. You need a min of a 2.5 most times to even be considered. Best bet, get your grades up and try for informal in the spring or go in as a junior next fall.

I don't know how it works as a transfer, but I'm pretty sure it's the same that you have to have a minimum 2.5 to even apply for recruitment. I agree with getting your grades up and trying in the Spring or next Fall if you want a more popular sorority (usually only the ones that need more girls recruit in the spring)

Okay, thanks! I know you may not know the answer, but I'm actually a transfer student, so will that GPA even matter since I don't have a GPA with Coastal yet?
