So every single fraternity has guys that represent them at every single sorority function. Some fraternity's have more than others at specific ones... The reason tiers matter is because girls will only mix with the top 8 fraternities even if guys from other fraternities come to their events. It's just the way it is

I'm sorry but guys/girls are in the fraternity/sorority they're in for a reason. If you like the fraternity's/sorority's personality, you're more likely to like most of the guys/girls in it. So yes, I'll probably get hate for this, but the fraternity/sorority you're in does matter and most people (actually all but no one wants to admit it) definitely judge you based on who you're affiliated with.

This is much more true for sororities than fraternities. Girls meet every sorority. Guys meet a quarter of the fraternities tops.

Tiers are much more accurate for sororities because sororities actually get to meet every single girl. There are so many guys who come here knowing nothing about Greek Life, so with the exception of the bottom 4 fraternities, the rest of them generally look and act almost the same. There are goobers and weirdos in every fraternity, even the absolute top ones.

Not denying that their reputations aren't completely different, but you really can't tell a difference socially/visually between the middle fraternities and the top

I mean would you really judge someone or hangout with someone just because of what fraternity and sorority they are in?
