As much as everyone hates to admit it, this is 100% true. It seems like there are way too many low/bottom tier fraternities, but as far as sororities are concerned and the way mixers go this is right. Also, quit including pike, sig chi, sig Pi and phi tau. They'll die out in no time and become really bad very fast

I don't know what designates a fraternity better than another. I like to classify each fraternity by which rushees wanted the most. These are by percentage of accepted bids.
KA, SN, ATO, Sigma Pi, AGR, PKT
All have over 90% accepted bids
KS, PKA, Alpha Sig, DTD, SX, Beta, PDT
80-90% accepted bids
LXA, SAE and DX were just under 80%
The rest fell under these

Sororities need to start mentally moving fraternities up though. Many of the "middle" and "bottom" tier fraternities are doing way better than sororities would expect, and most of the sororities are continuing to mix with only the "top tier," (which is only a couple of fraternities at this point)
