greek life is in danger

There are no tiers anymore. Maybe there once was, but not anymore. All that's left is survivors. There is no Greek life anymore. Greek "life" implies differences between organizations, and unique qualities that could allow any undergrad to be a part of something bigger than themselves, and to find the organization where they fit in. Can we say that about Greek Life this semester? OCES and the Clemson administration is systematically removing every fraternity under the guise of "student health and safety", which is a transparent agenda used to punish Greek life. The very Greek life that produced 6 out of 10 of the top donators to Clemson currently. The Clemson administration wants "what's best for their students", yet they have no problem raising tuition 4 years in a row. OCES and Clemson believe in promoting a set of values that were created when the citizens could trust their law enforcement, and when the drinking age was 18. How can you apply these values to the present day when police are required to wear cameras, and made to ruin the lives of those who want to have a beer? We can't. I don't want to be resentful towards the police, nor the administration, but they are doing more harm than good, fueled by fear of political or social attack from a public body that is dangerously ignorant, and indiscriminately spiteful.

Clemson Greek life is in danger. Not just fraternities, but sororities too. It's going to get much worse before it gets better.
