the fraternal elite
by: Old Row
Clemson tried to kick out a bunch of top fraternities and in doing so created an underground culture. These following fraternities got kicked off for hazing the hardest and throwing massive parties. They are
Sigma Chi
SIgma Alpha Epsilon
Phi Kappa Tau
Sigma Pi
They are now virtually untouchable by the school. Welcome to the underground oldrow

Actually, if you go underground, dues would go way down. Nationals payments are like 25% of the dues. But, if you go underground, you get no protection from nationals, no protection from the school (however little that may be), no formal rush, and the embarrassment of getting kicked off.
It's better to just deal with the system and stay on good terms.

IFC obviously has threatened on campus fraternities not to operate with any kicked off chapters but after this semester it seems as if that was just a bluff. I personally don't think they would get into the hassle of actually trying to punish a fraternity for a party with the kicked off chapter unless something ridiculous happened.
