re-rushing in the spring
by: Random DudeI'm a freshmen who did fall rush and didn't get past the first round for the houses that i liked, being out of state it was difficult for me not knowing anyone even though i went to a ton of pre-rush parties. Should i even bother going back to those houses that rejected me during spring rush or am i like blacklisted?

Do you say you did not know anyone yet you went to a ton of pre-rush events? Did you not meet anyone at all these events or was it that you went to a ton at all different houses? Also, are you walking in alone to the events or going with a friend. Best advice I got was go alone. Sometimes even your best friend can drag you down. The fraternity may not care for your friend but always see you with them. We have had siblings come through that we have a hard time giving a bid too.

my hall mates who knew a bunch of people, always invited me since they knew i was rushing, i went to like 10 houses. But i did my best to talk to a bunch of brothers and it seemed they liked me, so i was surprised i didn't get invited back, but i heard spring is far less competitive so that gives me hope.
