what happened to σχ?

I was interested in rushing sigma chi since my older brother was one at USC, but I recently got news that they've been shut down.

They are still recognized by nationals but not by clemson so they will most likely do underground rushing. In my opinion every frat should disaffiliate with clemson so they dont get screwed by all the new rules

it will be interesting to see what happens. Clemson has kicked them out for 5 years and demanded they recolonize instead of being re-instated. Nationals is still on board because they think Clemson will relent but that's doubtful in that case they've probably got 2 years before Nationals pulls the charter and starts prepping to recolonize.

Nah, their nationals won't do that. They have supported some of their off campus chapters for 8+ years at other schools

They gave out bids last night so if you were looking to rush them you're out of luck.

Partial truth, they're definitely still rushing during the normal rush week.
Source: tried to rent out the bar and they already had it reserved
