clemson and friars

I know Larry and I don't know why everyone keeps making rumors about Clemson buying the spots/Friars. He makes the majority of his money off of alcohol sales and said "It would be stupid for me to sell the spots to Clemson. If I sold them the spots for the same price I sell them to fraternities I would lose $100k+ a season off of alcohol sales. They would have to offer me an absurd amount of money to get those spots."

The rumor I heard was that clemson was buying Friars as a whole--the land and everything. Obviously not true if you talked to him just saying what I heard

I believe what youre saying an it's a false rumor but one thing we do know about Clemson is they won't hesitate to spend an extraordinary amount of money on stupid things.
