I'm sure plenty of you are reading this horrid site prepping for recruitment. I'm going to give you a piece of advice: don't. Seriously, turn off your computer and throw it out the window. Why? Because no one gives a crap what sorority you're in. Once you're in the Greek system and you're home, no one cares. All that matters is that you find where you're happy and comfortable. I'm in what people on this site would call a 'middle tier' sorority, but I have friends in every sorority. Your sorority's reputation does not define you, and what is said on this site is not all true. One of the prettiest girls I know is a theta and one of the smartest I know is a zeta. The 'bottom tier' sororities are filled with the nicest, most genuine young women on campus and tend to have the best sisterhood. A lot of the 'top tier' sororities have sucky sisterhood. It's all about what you're looking for in your college experience. So do this for me, don't let other people tell you where you belong. Keep an open mind and try to enjoy your Rush experience, because trust me, if you end up exactly where you're supposed to be, it'll all be worth it.
