spring pledging

Can someone please explain to me why fraternities that I've heard used to be good like Pike aren't good anymore and why kappa sig is supposedly good? Not a southern boy so I'm looking into the more northern fraternities. thanks

Good fraternities that take northern guys are Sigma Chi and Beta, you could also try Delta Chi or maybe Phidelt? It really just matters where you fit in, and the rankings are really opinionated, you don't have to be in the top 3 to enjoy it, i would try to stay in the top 50% though...

I think you got that backwards. Pike fell down to about the 6th or 7th spot when they had a kid die last year and as stayed comfotably in the relevant-middle tier. Kappa Swag continues to get just awful guys and shows it by self-ranking the hell out of this website

Pikes are just kind of sketchy now, kappa swag has done well enough because it has a nice house across the street from campus. They're solid upper middle where sae used to be a few years ago
